WSSSC is an adult recreational kickball league built on the belief that sports should be fun, friendly, and for everyone. Founded in 2012, we've been bringing our community together on the field — and off it — for over a decade.
Our Mission
The Winston Salem Sports & Social Club was founded with a simple idea: kickball is better when you share it with your community. We created WSSSC to give adults of all skill levels a place to play a great game, meet new people, and have a good time doing it.
We run a well-organized, fairly officiated league with a healthy dose of competitive spirit — but we never lose sight of what matters most: the experience. Whether you're gunning for the championship or just happy to get a hit, you belong here.
Our season includes regular weeknight games, a year-end playoff tournament, and a long-standing tradition of post-game socials at local spots. We're more than a league — we're a community.

Our Story
The Beginning
A group of friends who loved kickball and couldn't find a casual league decided to start their own. The first WSSSC season featured just 4 teams playing at a single park.
Growing Up
By our fourth season, word had spread and we had grown to 10 teams across 2 divisions. We added a post-game social tradition that continues to this day.
Expanding the League
We moved to Parkland Park with two dedicated fields and launched our first end-of-season championship tournament with a real trophy on the line.
300+ Players Strong
Celebrating our 10th anniversary, WSSSC reached over 300 registered players, 16 teams, and introduced free agent placement for solo sign-ups.
Today
Now in our 12th year, we're still the same league at heart — just bigger and better. Spring 2026 registration is open and we'd love to have you on the field.

8-Week Season
Regular season games on weeknights, giving you time to get into a groove.

Top 4 teams from each division advance to a single-elimination playoff.
Free Agent Placement
Sign up solo and we'll place you on a team that needs players.

Games are played at Parkland Park with well-maintained fields and proper equipment.
Post-Game Socials
We have a home bar where teams gather after games to unwind and celebrate.
Certified Umpires
All games are officiated by certified umpires for fair, consistent play.
